Hanna Chrzaszcz (nee Tudek) of East Rutherford, New Jersey, peacefully entered eternal life on September 20, 2024, with her loving family by her side, she was 83. Hanna was born in Warsaw, Poland on September 4, 1941, to Andrzej and Amelia (Goliszewska) Tudek. Hanna's family lived in Miedzylesia, a suburb of Warsaw until the summer of 1944 when their journey to escape Poland began. After the end of the war, the family lived in Croydon, a suburb of London. When their visas were approved, they arrived by boat in New York City in July 1954 and settled in Jersey City, New Jersey. Hanna married her best friend and love of her life, Walenty Chrzaszcz(deceased) on July 6, 1963, they were married for 57 years.
Hanna's family and her faith in God were most important to her. She enjoyed gardening, the mountains, and cooking, but cherished spending time with her granddaughters the most. She was a loving mother of Peter Chrzaszcz, his wife Danika Davis, Danuta Dudek, and her husband Marek. She was also a cherished grandmother of Alexandra and Lilianna, dear sister of Teresa Wnuk and her husband Jurek(deceased), Diane Dudaniec and her husband Jerry(deceased) and John Tudek, Sr. and his wife Barbara, as well as a caring sister-in-law and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered for her love of ice cream, honesty, caring heart and unconditional love for her family. She was blessed with her faith in God to her dying breath. While our hearts are heavy, we are comforted in knowing that after suffering with Alzheimers, she is now whole again. With love, sadness and profound gratitude, we bid farewell to a woman who will be remembered for her kindness, gentle heart, loving nature and strong personality. We celebrate her life and find comfort that she is in heaven watching over us.
