Halina Magdziak

Halina Magdziak of Garfield, formerly of Passaic, died on Feb 9th, she was 46. Halina was born in Nisko, Poland to Eugieniusz and Maria (Pirog) Watras. She came to the United States 21 years ago. On April 28th, 1997 she married Ryszard Magdziak at St. Joseph's Church in Passaic. She is survived by her loving husband Ryszard, her cherished children Krzysztof and Patrycia. Halina is also survived by her loving mother, father, four sisters and one brother. In addition to being a parishioner of St. Joseph's, she was proud to be a Catholic woman. Her family states that in addition to cooking and making great pierogies, she loved talking on her cell phone with friends and family.
