George Gimon of Ramsey, New Jersey died on March 11th, 2012, he was 68. George was born in Hackensack on Jan 11, 1944 to John and Amelia (Bross) Gimon. He was raised in Garfield, NJ and graduated from Garfield H.S. Class of 1962. On April, 24th, 1965 George married Beverly Dusheck. In 1971 the family moved to Ramsey. He last worked as a salesman for Stevens Paints, Yonkers, NY; as well as other industrial paint, wall covering, retail and wholesale paint companies. His hobbies included refereeing and coaching soccer both at the rec level and with competitive travel teams. George was an avid tinkerer, tinkering mostly with cars, fishing flys, rods, and lures. He was a builder of custom fishing poles and enjoyed using them in Montauk with his fishing buddies. His greatest joy was watching his grandson Kyle play baseball. George is survived by his beloved wife Beverly of nearly 47 years, his loving daughter Michele Gimon and grandson Kyle George Contarino.
