Genowefa Stanislawczyk of Garfield, New Jersey, died on August 17th, 2013, she was 90. Genowefa was born in Harasimowicze, Poland on April 15th, 1923 to Pawel and Adela Stanislawczyk. She married Waclaw Stanislaw and came to the United States with her family on September 18th, 1959, living in Paterson, NJ until 1969. Genowefa moved to Garfield and has lived there ever since. In addition to her skills as a master seamstress, Genowefa truly enjoyed cooking and gardening. Her gardening included beautiful flowers and vegetables that she often used in her cooking. Genowefa was predeceased by her husband Waclaw and her six siblings. She is survived by her devoted sons Ted and Henry Stanislaw and her cherished six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visiting Monday, August 19th, 2013 at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, New Jersey. A funeral mass will be held at Church of the Holy Rosary, Wall Street Passaic, 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 20th, 2013. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Saddle Brook.
