Genevieve Miazga, 94 of Wallington, entered eternal life, joining her beloved husband Joseph, on February 24th. Genevieve was born in the United States on March 18th, 1925 to Mr. and Mrs. Furman. Due to the depression, her parents, unable to find sustainable work, decided to return to Poland, Genevieve was only 7. In 1942, during the midst of WWII, she married her beloved husband Joseph in Poland. After many separations and trials, the couple fled Poland, escaped the Russians’ and finally made their way to the United States. They arrived in the United States in 1948, and shortly thereafter, Genevieve was employed by B-D in East Rutherford, where she worked until her retirement in the 1980’s. Genevieve was a long time member of the Wallington A.A.R.P. Chapter 4115. Genevieve was also a devoted parishioner of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Wallington. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph on August 7th, 2008. Genevieve is survived by her beloved daughter Jeanette Hasbrouck of Tomball, TX., her devoted son in law Victor Brunell of Tallahassee, FL and her four grandchildren Jennifer and husband Colt Hasson, Heather (Garcia) Hasbrouck, Michael and Victor Brunell; as well as ten great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Genevieve was predeceased by her dear son in law Glenn Hasbrouck and her beloved daughter Joanne Brunell; and her three brothers, John, Stanley and Joseph Furman. Visiting 6-9 pm, Friday, February 28th, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, NJ. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am, Saturday, February 29th, at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Ave, Wallington, NJ.
