Frank Swistak of Highland Lakes, NJ and formerly of Wallington and Garfield, entered eternal life on Sunday, May 2nd, 2021, he was 92. Frank was born in Garfield, NJ on May 22nd, 1928, to Frank and Katherine (Udvari) Swistak. Frank was married to his beloved wife Carol (Pinckney), for 43 years at the time of her passing on June 18th, 2016 . He had worked as a truck driver for Kirsch Oil in Elmwood Park, prior to his retirement. He and Carol enjoyed spending time and being active members of the Wallington Seniors and the Wallington AARP Chapter 4115. In 2019 Frank went to live with his son Roger and his family. He spent many hours walking and enjoying the outdoors. His greatest joy however was spending time at the table with his great-grandson Cade, where they would talk for hours and share cookies. Frank is survived by his beloved children, son Frank Swistak III and his companion Nancy, his daughter Donna Lee Whitzell and her companion Dominic, his son Roger Whitzell and his companion Cindy. He is also survived by his grandchildren R.J. Whitzell and his companion Lizzy, Tyler Whitzell and fiance Kara, Aaron, Michelle, James and Dawn, and 12 great grandchildren.
