Frank Ludwiczak, formerly of Rutherford and most recently of West Orange, entered eternal life on Saturday, October 20th, he was 86. Frank was born in Jersey City on June 1st, 1932, to Frank and Catherine (Niechwiadowicz) Ludwiczak. He was a graduate of the NY School of Interior Design. He worked most of his professional career for the Port Authority as a building Inspector, retiring in 1995. Frank was married to his cherished wife Joan Powell on October 22, 1955 at St. Anthony's Church in Jersey City. Frank enjoyed gardening, decorating for the holidays and rooting for the "Mets and Nets." He was gifted and talented in his artistic design abilities. Frank also had a great love of the ocean and cruising. Frank is survived by his cherished wife Joan of 63 years, his four beloved children, Elaine and her husband Lee Brown, Thomas A. Ludwiczak, Margaret M. Ludwiczak and Jacqueline and her husbsand Paul Schuldiner. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Gillian, Dave and Renee. He was predeceased by his son Mark in 1998. Visiting 2-4 and 6-9 pm, Wednesday, October 24th, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington. A funeral Mass will be celebrated , Thursday, October 25th, at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Ave, Wallington, where Frank and Joan have been active parishioners for many years. Frank will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. www.WarnerAndWozniak.com
