Fiore "Frank" D'Ambrosio, of Toms River and formerly of Wallington, entered eternal life on June 13th, 2019, he was 73. Frank was born in Jersey City on January 10th, 1946 to Frank and Lucy (Cuccrello) D'Ambrosio. He lived in Jersey City as a young boy before moving to Rutherford. He was a graduate of St. Mary's High School Class of 1964, and in 1965 he entered the United States Army. He proudly served in Vietnam where he suffered injuries, prior to his honorable discharge in 1967. On April 27th, 1968 he married his beloved wife Paulette Kraska at the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Wallington; they were married over 51 years. Frank had worked his professional career with the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission as a liquid waste operator. He had enjoyed bowling and was proud to have bowled a 300 in 1976 at the Lanes in Wallington. He had also coached Wallington Pee Wee's and the Wallington Little League. Frank was also a member of the VFW Pavlick-Koster Post 2640, in Wallington. Frank is survived by his devoted wife Paulette, his beloved children Cheryl D'Ambrosio and Frank D'Ambrosio, his sister in law Cynthia and her husband Joseph Grossano, his brother in law Joseph Dianuzzo and his nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his three sisters Felice McAndrew, Rose Dianuzzo and Frances Alvarez. Visiting 4-7 pm, Monday, June 17th at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Avenue, Wallington, NJ 07057. A funeral service will be held at 6:45 pm, followed by a private cremation.
