Erik Partyka

September 27, 1976 — July 17, 2023

Erik Partyka entered eternal life prematurely on Monday, July 17th, 2023, at the young age of 46. Erik was born in Passaic, New Jersey on September 27th, 1976, to Edward Partyka and Gail Partyka (Dill). Erik grew up in Wallington, where he graduated from high school in 1995. This is where he honed his athletic skills. He was an all around sportsman, especially baseball, playing for the Panthers as an outfielder. His love for baseball grew as he ended up serving his community of Lyndhurst where he relocated in his later years as a coach for twelve years on multiple teams, including Bergen County Glass little league. He was a fan of the NY Mets and the NY Giants. He loved spending time in nature, with a passion for camping and survival. One of his most frequent pass times was being on the water, fishing or crabbing with his loved ones, something he passed to down to his children and brothers. Erik was well known for being multifaceted. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corp, and from 1995-2003 he served with distinction and honor in the Communication section, earning the rank of Corporal. Erik worked as a general manager for E-Post Global in South Hackensack. He was a talented motivator of people, and this was evident in all aspects of his life from his work life to his involvement in youth sports to his dedication to serving our country. Through his guidance and support, he empowered individuals to recognize their strengths and talents, ultimately leading to personal growth and self-awareness. Erik was a man who cared deeply for others and was always only a call away for help to both family and friends. He is survived by his beloved spouse, Wendy Rodriguez, his cherished children Tyler, Ryan, Joshua, Victoria, and Isabella, his mother Gail, his siblings Ricky and his wife Sara Ray, Sean and his wife Stephanie Ray, Heather and her husband Eric Ventura, Dina, Allisin and her husband Carlos Alvarez, and his American Staffordshire Terrier named Toby. Erik was predeceased by his cherished grandparents William and Mary Dill, Stanley and Cecilia Partyka and his father Edward.
