Emily Desbiens, a lifelong resident of Wallington, entered eternal life on Sunday, June 3rd, 2018, she was 20. Emily was born in Hackensack, NJ on June 20th, 1997, to Bernard and Beverly (Zulkowski) Desbiens. She was a graduate of Wallington High School Class of 2015, where she had been a Varsity Cheerleader, an MVP in Girls Softball, and a Glamour Girls Volunteer; she had also been a Girl Scout in the Lenni-Lenape Council. Emily had just finished her Junior year at William Paterson University, where she was in the Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority. Emily had worked for Pink Dog Estate Sales, and worked at, In the Drink Restaurant at the Preakness Valley Golf Course in Wayne. She also participated with Heroes and the Cool Kids Program. Emily enjoyed walking her dog Jeb, camping, hiking and beach days. Emily was a parishioner of Transfiguration of Our Lord Polish National Catholic Church in Wallington, where she served as a lector and as a Sunday School Teacher. She is survived by her beloved parents Beverly and Bernard, her loving brother Paul Desbiens, her maternal grandparents Edwin and Irene Zulkowski, her paternal grandmother Vivian Desbiens. She is also survived by her adoring aunts and uncles, Linda Zulkowski, Susan Luber, Noreen Desbiens, Douglas Luber, James Desbiens. She is also survived by her cousins Kaitlyn, James, Hailey, Alyson, Kimberly and Douglas. A funeral Mass will be celebrated, 10am, Friday, June 8th, Transfiguration of Our Lord PNCC, 135 Hathaway St, Wallington.
