Emily Rybak Bednarski of Wallington, entered eternal life, Wednesday, April 12th, 2017, she was 92. Emily was born in Passaic on June 17th, 1924, to Albert and Mary (Nieradka) Janusz. She had lived in Passaic and Carlstadt prior to moving to Wallington in 1952. In addition to being a full time mom, Emily also contributed to War efforts working in aircraft assembly factories. During the Vietnam Era she worked in munitions, assembling hand grenades. One of Emily's fondest memories occurred when she worked at MacGregor Sports in East Rutherford. Emily was an Avid Mets Fan, and It was here she met the NY Mets legend, Gary Carter. Emily's greatest love was her family and just being the best Babci to them. She is survived by her eight beloved children and their spouses, Loretta Rybak, Gloria (Stanley) Friedman, Robert (Claudia) Rybak, Warren (Arlene) Rybak, Cheryl (Ron) Burch, Donald Bednarski, Gerald (Jacqueline) Bednarski and Bruno Bednarski. Emily is Babci to her seven cherished grandchildren Jennifer, Steven, Justin, Kaitlyn, Nicholas, Randall, Kristina; and her five great grandchildren Mia, Adeline Isabella, Evan, Anthony and one on the way, and her devoted cat Jack. Emily was predeceased by her very dear friends Vicky, Freda and Rose. Visiting 2-4 and 7-9, Monday, April 17th, 2017. Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 18th, at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Ave, Wallington.
