Edward “Eddie” Chmielewski of Millsboro, Delaware entered eternal life on, February 18th , 2021; he was 72 years young. Edward was born in Germany, on February 28th, 1948 to Edward and Rosalia (Fedorowiat) Chmielewski. In 1953, Eddie’s family emigrated to the United states and settled in Passaic, New Jersey. Eddie graduated from Passaic High School, Class of 1966. He was drafted into the United States Army where he served honorably, during the Vietnam Conflict. During his professional career, Eddie made many career changes. He was a long-distance trucker, heavy equipment operator, Interstate road paver and roofer. In addition, Eddie drove for Leisure Line Tour Company, driving busses to Atlantic City and cross-country destinations. Eddie was a Tournament pool player, earning the nick name “Fast Eddie.” He earned this nick name for his ability to “run a table” with pure artistry. He won many tournaments in P.A. and N.J.; always excepting victory with a slight smile. For Eddie it was not just about sinking the winning shot, it was the friendships he made along the way. Eddie was a motorcycle enthusiast; he toured the United States on his Harley attending bike rallies; in Lake George, Daytona Beach, and anywhere else the open road would take him. He was an accomplished wood worker, crafting furniture and gifts for family and friends. Eddie is survived by his beloved wife Maria Robles, his daughters, Trina Chmielewski, Mandee Chmielewski, Alicia Chmielewski and her husband Paul, Danielle Valeri and her husband Joe. He is survived by his stepchildren, Vanessa and Michael Robles; and his grandchildren Shane, Shawn, Jake, Cole, Aidan, and Gage; and many nieces and nephews that loved him. He is also survived by his brother Richard Chmielewski and his wife Doreen, his sister Irene Manz, and her husband Ronnie. A memorial life celebration will be held Saturday, March 6th, 3-5 pm, At Warner-Wozniak funeral service, 80 Midland Avenue, Wallington, N.J.
