Edmund Chetnik

Edmund Chetnik, formerly of Garfield, entered eternal life on Wednesday, December 26th, 2018, he was 68. Edmund was born in Pianki, Poland on December 22nd, 1950, to Czeslaw and Genowefa Chetnik. He was a graduate of an Agricultural College in Poland; where he utilized his education on the family farm. He came to the United States in the late 1970's where he worked in various factories, last working in Totowa, NJ. Edmund is survived by his daughter Ashley, his sister Krystyna in Poland, his sister Cecylia Karpowicz of Elmwood Park, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Elzbieta in 2017. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am, Friday, December 28th, at Holy Rosary Church, 6 Wall Street, Passaic.
