Dorothy Czesak

Dorothy Czesak, a lifelong resident of Wallington, entered eternal life on Monday, August 5th, 2019, she was 94. Dorothy was born at home in Wallington on November 21st, 1924, to Joseph and Elizabeth Horant. She was married to her beloved husband Julius Czesak, on May 7th, 1950 in Passaic, New Jersey, he predeceased her. Dorothy was extremely active in the Wallington Community, especially when her children were in school. She had been a Past President of the Wallington Little League, Past President of the Home and School Assn., Past President of the Wallington Band Assn. She had also coached for the Wallington Girls Softball and had been an active Fundraiser for the Deborah Foundation. Dorothy had also been the Treasurer of the Wallington Seniors for over 25 years. Dorothy had worked for General Automotive in New Brunswick for over twenty years, retiring in the mid 1980's. She is survived by her beloved children and their spouses; Denise and David DeVries of Wallington, NJ and James and Phyllis Czesak of Palos Verdes Estates, CA; and her cherished six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visiting 4 - 8 pm, Friday, August 9th, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington, NJ. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am, Saturday, August 10th, at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Ave, Wallington.
