Dolores Imbruglia, nee: Chopo, of Wallington, NJ, peacefully entered eternal life on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, she was 81. Dolores was born on April 7th, 1943, to Joseph and Helen Chopo. She lived in Garfield before marrying and moved to Wallington. Dolores was a kind, loving, compassionate and friendly woman, who was reliable, always there for her family and could see the beauty in everything and everyone. Before Dolores retired, she had worked as an administrative secretary for the Sealed Air Corporation. She loved bringing home samples of bubble wrap for her grandchildren to pop. Dolores loved making friends and going out. "She never met a stranger, just a friend waiting to be made." She enjoyed dancing, music, adorning her house for the holidays, knitting hats and blankets. She was a definite foodie and loved shopping at the dollar store. When she was in High School, she was known as "Best Dancer." Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Rosario in 2019. She is survived by her older sister Eileen Facas and her younger sister Gloria Doe. She was the cherished mother of Theresa, Deanna and her husband Mark Lepinski and Carmello and his wife Annette Imbruglia. She was the loving grandmother to Nicholas Lepinski and his wife Jacqui and their daughter Anastasia, Matthew Lepinski, Miranda and her husband Mateusz Wierzba, Desiree Velazquez and Veronica Velazquez and four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her family and friends will forever remember her as a woman whose singing and laughter brightened their lives. As we say goodbye to Dolores, we celebrate the profound impact she had on our hearts. Though she may no longer be with us physically, her love and light will continue to guide and inspire us every day.
