Carol Swistak

Carol Mary Swistak of Wallington, on June 18th, she was 80. Carol was born in Newark, NJ on July 20th, 1935 to Anna and Gustave Pinckney. She was raised in Nutley then moved to Wallington. She has been married to her beloved husband Frank Swistak Jr. for 43 years. Carol had worked as a home health aide for many years before she retired in 2010. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones. For over thirty years Carol volunteered with her daughter for the Wallington Girl Scouts where was she was fondly known as “Grandma Carol”. She was an active member of the Wallington Seniors and the Wallington AARP Chapter 4115. Carol is survived by her beloved husband Frank, her devoted children Donna Lee Whitzell and her boyfriend Dominic Nerli, and her son Roger Whitzell. She is survived by her grandchildren R.J. Whitzell and Tyler Whitzell. She is survived by her siblings Dorlores Kurczak (Edward 2005), George Pinckney and his wife Ann, Lorraine Sikora and Robert Pinckney (2006), as well as many nieces and nephews.
