Bronislawa Soltys of Garfield, entered eternal life on Thursday, May 24th, 2018, she was 90. Bronislawa was born in Brzostowa Gora, Poland on April 4th, 1928, to Jan and Aniela (Tomczyk) Gunia. She was married to her beloved husband Stefan Soltys in April of 1950. They were married for over 36 years at the time of his passing in March of 1986. She came to the United States in 1978 for a short period, and returned in the early 80's living first in Passaic and then to Garfield in 1991. Bronislawa had worked in a textile mill in Passaic, and later worked at Ethan Allen in Passaic where she worked on framing pictures, retiring in 1991 at the age of 71. In her free time she enjoyed singing, praying, sewing and baking. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. Bronislawa is survived by her 6 devoted children and their spouses, Helena and Tadeusz Bajdas, Jozef and Janina Soltys, Tadeusz and Janina Soltys, Maria and Jan Safin, Stanislaw and Stanislawa Soltys, Zbigniew and Ewa Soltys. She is also survived by her beloved 26 grandchildren, her 43 cherished great grandchildren and her dear brother Jozef Gunia. She was predeceased by her sister Wladyslawa Sudol. Visiting 3 - 5 pm and 7 - 9 pm, Friday, May 25th, and 8:30am - 9:30 am Saturday, May 26th at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am, Saturday, May 26th, at Holy Rosary Church, 6 Wall Street Passaic.
