Bronislawa "Bronia" Moskal of Garfield, entered eternal life on Wednesday, December 5th, she was 78. Bronislawa was born in Przedzel, Poland on January 16th, 1940, to Jozef and Zofia (Oczkowski) Zak. She was married to her dear husband Walter Moskal in December of 1962. In 1972 she came to the United States, first living in Passaic, then settling in Garfield. For the past 15 years, Bronia has been an entertainment coordinator, scheduling bus trips to Atlantic City. This was something that brought her lots of joy. In addition to making trips for the Atlantic City slots, Bronia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, cats and animal rescue. Her most recent rescue was for a pigeon that had suffered a broken wing. After nearly six months in Bronia's rehab, the pigeon flew away on his own. Bronia was also a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church in Passaic. Her family said that she truly lived up to the meaning of her name. Bronislawa means the protector or the defender. Bronia is survived by her dear husband Walter Moskal, her beloved daughters Violet Moskal and Regina and her husband James Otun. She is survived by her nine grandchildren, Dominick, Alexis, Tyler, Amanda, Daniella, Louis, Angelina, Zakary and Maximilian; and her siblings Joseph and his wife Mirka Zak, Eugene and Sofia Zak, Mieczyslawa and her husband Marian Czesnik. Bronia was predeceased by her beloved children Elizabeth Moskal, Andrew Moskal and Edward Moskal.
