Bronislaw Bladek of Wallington, died on Jan 22nd, he was 73. Bronislaw was born in Stany, Poland on July 7, 1940 to Wojciech and Antonina Bladek. He proudly served in the Polish Army from 1959 to 1961. Bronislaw came to the United States in Jan of 1969. He married Janina Trawinski and the family came to Wallington in 1972 from Passaic. Bronislaw had worked for Applikay Textile in Passaic from 1973 to 1984 and J.L. Prescott Co during the mid 1980’s. He then worked at Fabrite Laminating Corp as a “frame” operator starting in 1986, retiring on Oct 28th, 2008. Bronislaw was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in Passaic. His family said he was the real, “Mr. Fix It,” as he enjoyed fixing, building and tinkering with everything from cars to washers, and completing many home projects since his retirement. Bronislaw is survived by his beloved wife Janina, his dear son Edward and his girlfriend Margaret Kaczor; a dear and supportive family friend, Bozena Borcz. He is also survived by his sister Maria and her husband Michal Zak and two sisters in Poland, Jozefa Janiec and Tekla Janiec. He was predeceased by two brothers, Stanislaw and Jan. Visiting 2-4 and 6-9 Friday, Jan 24th Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am Sat, St. Joseph’s Church, 7 Parker Ave, Passaic, NJ 07055, followed by interment at St. Michael’s Cemetery, South Hackensack.
