Beatrice Cioce (Lauricella) entered eternal life, Sunday May 7th, 2023. She was 97. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home overlooking the mountains in Woodland Park, NJ surrounded by family. Beatrice is pre-deceased by her loving husband of 70 years, Thomas Cioce. Beatrice was a longtime resident of Passaic, NJ where she lived, worked and raised her family. Beatrice was an amazing seamstress, tirelessly sewing with great detail the wedding gowns of her daughters and christening and communion dresses of her granddaughters. She was also well known for sewing her own pale blue wedding dress that she wore when she married Thomas on October 26th, 1947. She redesigned the lace top to use in her 25th anniversary gown. Beatrice was also known for being an amazing cook, making homemade cannoli for family and friends. Bea will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her loving family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by her oldest daughter Laura Caldwell and her husband Bryan Pivar and their children: granddaughter Kristen Caldwell and husband Jeff Krusel and daughters Riley and Ella, and granddaughter Nicole Caldwell and husband David Magbee and daughter Deleuw. Beatrices younger daughter Cindy May and her husband Edward May and their children: granddaughter Jennifer May and partner Ken Ciesla and daughter Sophia Ciesla and granddaughter Kaitlyn Pruzansky and her husband Adam Pruzansky and daughter Skylar Rose. Visitation for family and friends, 10am – 12 noon, followed by a 12 noon funeral service, Thursday, May 11th, at the Warner-Wozniak Funeral Home, 470 Colfax Avenue; Clifton, New Jersey. Beatrice will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Thomas at the St. Nicholas Cemetery, 2 Terrace Avenue, Lodi, New Jersey.
