Anthony Ventura Jr., a lifelong resident of Wallington, entered eternal life on November 19th, 2020, he was 77. Anthony was born in Passaic, NJ on March 19th, 1943 to Anthony Sr., and Mary (Alfieri) Ventura. He was raised in Wallington, and was a graduate of the Wallington High School, Class of 1960 and a State Football Champion. He proudly served in the United States Navy and was the youngest elected Fire Chief in Wallington. He had been married to the former Rebecca Tetla, she survives. Anthony had worked in the family business, Ventura Glass, retiring in 2010. He could often be found spending time with his grandchildren, watching sports and spending time in his 1962 Cadillac. Anthony is survived by his beloved sons Eric and his wife Heather Ventura, Jason and his wife Christine Ventura, his cherished grandchildren Skylar and Evan. He is also survived by his companion Alice Rosciet and his dear sister Beverly Giacomarro. Anthony was predeceased by his brother Nunzio Ventura and Alfred Ventura. Due to the ongoing COVID situation, Anthony will be privately cremated and a memorial funeral service will be held at a future date, when family and friends can gather safely.
