Anthony Patrick O’Hare Jr. of Bergenfield, entered eternal life on Sunday, November 27th, he was 82. Anthony was born on April 15, 1940, to Anthony P. Sr, and Margaret O'Hare. He served proudly in the United States Navy from 1958-1963. Anthony’s proudest achievement, besides his children and grandchildren was graduating from Seton Hall University. Anthony started his career in Bergen County Probation. He then became a Senior U.S. Probation and Parole Officer for the Southern District of New York from 1973-1997. After his retirement from law enforcement, Tony worked part time driving limousines for BBZ. Anthony was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. John’s Council #1345, The Tenafly Elks, and a former Bergenfield Little League Coach. He is the beloved father of Tara Kwederis and her husband Dan, Daniel O’Hare and his wife Kaitlin and his daughter in law Lisa O'Hare. Anthony's son Timothy O'Hare entered eternal life this past November 20th. He is the loving brother of Patricia Sturno and her husband Gerard. Anthony is the cherished grandfather of Connor and Kaitlyn O’Hare, Ella and Daniel Kwederis and Molly O’Hare; and is also survived by many nephews and a niece, and his close cousin Tom Cummings. Anthony was predeceased by his beloved parents and his dear sisters Monica and Teresa O'Hare. Visiting Sunday, December 4th, 2 - 6 PM, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Avenue, WALLINGTON, NJ. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 am, Monday, December 5th, at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 29 N Washington Ave, Bergenfield, NJ 07621. Contributions to a College Fund that has been established to benefit the children of Anthony's deceased son (Connor and Kaitlyn O'Hare) would be most appreciated.
