Anna Chlopek

Anna Chlopek of Wallington, for fifty years entered eternal life on Wednesday, November 21st, 2018, she was 83. Anna was born in Ruda, Poland on February 18th, 1935, to Jan and Maria (Puk) Rys. On December 27th, 1953 she married her beloved husband Stanley Chlopek. Anna came to the United States on November 13th, 1968 and settled in Wallington. She had worked for many years as a seamstress, last working in Garfield. She retired in 1997 at the age of 62. Anna was a devoted parishioner of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Wallington. She could also be found tending to the flower gardens all around her home. Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband Stanley in 2010. She is survived by her three loving children and their spouses, Maria and Walter Dubis, Ewa and Edward Glazowski and Wesley and Teresa Chlopek. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren; Walter Matthew III and his wife Krystyna; Jolene Marie and her husband Lance. Christopher and his wife Trista, Paul, Renata, Michele and her husband Eli, Amanda, Kevin and great granddaughters Shelby and Esme. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:00 am, Monday, November 26th, 2018 at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus 127 Paterson Avenue Wallington, NJ.Anna will be laid to rest with her husband Stanley at St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
