Anna Budz

Anna Budz of Garfield, New Jersey, entered eternal life on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024, she was 91. Anna was born in Lapsze Wyzne, Poland, on January 4th, 1933, to Blazej and Stefania (Gryglak) Kalata. Anna married the love of her life, Jozef Budz on June 27th, 1951, in Poland. Before retiring in 2001, anna worked in a lamp manufacturing factory. Her greatest joy was spending time with her beautiful family. She also enjoyed gardening and going on walks. Anyone who ate her amazing cooking always left with a smile on their face. Anna was also very close to her faith being a devout longtime parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Garfield, NJ. Anna was also a proud member of their rosary group. She is survived by her 6 loving children, Frances and her husband Blazej, Jozef and his wife Maria, Maria and her husband Stanislaw Flach, Tadeusz and his wife Ewa, Edward and his wife Ewa, and Ryszard and his wife Marta, her 13 cherished grandchildren, Michelle and her husband Diego Garcia, Justin, Eric, Stephanie, and Laura Budz, Agnes and her husband Ryan Kaiser, Anna and her husband Feng-Yang Shin, Barbara and her husband Robert Mastej, Marek and his wife Joanne Budz, Chris and his wife Iza Soltys, Mike and his wife Jane, John and his wife Sara. She is also survived by her 13 dear great grandchildren. Anna was predeceased by her beloved spouse of 64 years, Jozef in 2015. and her 2 grandsons Paul and Dawid. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am, Saturday, January 20th, St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 184 Ray St., Garfield, NJ 07026. Anna will be laid to rest, St. Mary's Cemetery, 1 Outwater lane, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663.
