Andrzej Tomczyk of Garfield, New Jersey, entered eternal life on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021, he was 74. Andrzej was born in Sandomierz, Poland on August 18th, 1946, to Jan and Jozefa (Borowska) Tomczyk. He proudly served for two years in the Polish Army. He emigrated to the United States in 1984, first living in Chicago, IL and then moving in to Garfield in 1986. He married his beloved wife Waleria, of nearly 35 years on August 22nd, 1986 in Garfield. Andrzej had worked as a supervisor at Coining Technology in Clifton, NJ for over 27 years, retiring in 2014. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and at the beach. He also enjoyed playing card games with his friends and family. Andrzej is survived by his beloved wife Waleria, his beloved children Rafal and his wife Anna, Beata and and her husband Javier and Lisa Tomczyk-Olik and her husband Kevin Olik. He is also survived by his five cherished grandchildren Alex and Nel Tomczyk, Michael and Maxwell Rodriguez and Elijah Olik; his siblings and their spouses, Maria and Adam Grabarska, Kazimierz and Danuta Tomczyk, Wladyslawa and Adam Ochal. Visiting 2 - 4 pm, and 7 - 9 pm, Friday, August 6th, and Saturday, August 7th, 9 - 9:30 am, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington, NJ. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am, Saturday, August 7th, St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 184 Ray Street Garfield, New Jersey 07026. Andrzej will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery, 1 Outwater Lane, Saddle Brook.
