Ambrose Hasuga of Garfield, NJ, died on March 28, 2011; he was 75. Ambrose was born on June 14th, 1935 in Excelisor, PA, to Thomas and Martha (Mallish) Hasuga,. He started life as a coal miner, but quickly left and came to New Jersey, in September of 1962. Here in NJ, he worked for various companies before settling at Inter-Plast, a plastics manufacturer, in Garfield, NJ. He retired after working there for over 20 years. Ambrose is survived by 4 of his 20 siblings, Ann Schmidt of Lexington, S.C.; Helen Bendrick of Las Vegas, NV; Nicholas Hasuga of Vero Beach, Florida and Pearl Petrovicz of Kulpmont, PA. He is also survived by his niece Rosemary Noona of Elmwood Park, NJ, and grand-niece Dawn Brulet of Garfield, NJ; and many other nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Visitation 9am – 11:45am, Thursday at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington, NJ; followed by the Mass of the Resurrection, 12:00pm at Church of the Most Holy Name, Garfield, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions in Ambrose’s name to Church of the Most Holy Name (Renovation Fund), 99 Marsellus Place Garfield, NJ 07026-1832.
