Alicja Fredericks

Alicja Fredericks of Passaic, NJ, entered eternal life on December 1, 2024; she was 90 years old. Alicja was born in Sliwno, Poland, on April 11, 1934, to Stanislaw and Maria Hajduczyk, nee Jendruczyk. 

Alicja wanted to come to America, and prior to emigrating to the United States, she worked as a secretary for a trade School in Poland. In 1968, when Alicja was 34 years old, she finally emigrated to the United States, settling in Paramus with her cousin Genowefa (Jean). She began working for Tension Envelope Corp in Hackensack, where she met her future husband, Ralph Fredericks.

Alicja enjoyed gardening and planting colorful flowers around her house. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Stanislaw Kosta RC. Church for over 30 years. She loved the Christmas season and took immense joy in decorating. Alicja was a strong, self-sufficient woman; however, prior to her 90th birthday, she moved in with her cousins, Bozena and Wojciech  Dawidowski, and their two sons, Patrick and Sebastian. She also leaves behind her cousins Elzbieta, Josephine, and Marta; her nephews Bogdan and Wojciech, and many more cousins in America and Poland.

Alicja is predeceased by her beloved husband Ralph and her dear siblings Ryszard, Krystyna, Genowefa, and cousin Jean 

Alicja will be remembered for her kind heart and her willingness to help friends and family.

Visiting: Warner Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, NJ, Thursday, December 5th, 9:00 am-10:30 am; immediately following, at 11 am, a funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaw Kosta RC. Church, 184 Ray St, Garfield, NJ. Alicia will be laid to rest with her husband Ralph at St. Mary's Cemetery, 1 Outwater Lane, Saddle Brook, NJ.
