Alberta Puzio

Alberta Puzio of Wallington, died on February 20, 2014, she was 90. Alberta was born in Misernia, Poland on Nov 25, 1923 to Josef and Katazyna (Bochuk) Mayerczak. She came to the United States in 1937, living in Passaic. On January 9th, 1942 she married Walter Puzio, and the family moved to Wallington. Alberta worked for many years for National Family Stores in Garfield. She most recently had worked as a lunch aide at the Jefferson School in Wallington, a job she truly enjoyed. Alberta had been a member of the Wallington Seniors. She was predeceased by her husband Walter in 1980 and her son Henry in 1997 and her brother Eddie. Alberta is survived by her children and their spouses, George and Lynne Puzio, Janice and Robert Vasile, and Christine and David Webb; she is also survived by her brother Val Mayerczak, her 7 beloved grandchildren Paul, Jody, Jillia, Adam, Dana Leigh, Samantha Ann and Carl. She is also survived by six great grandchildren. Visiting will be today from 1PM to 4PM, with a funeral service at 3:30, during visitation, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, NJ.
