Adam Jozefczyk of Wallington, died on February 18th, he was 85. Adam was born in Baryczka, Poland on June 28th, 1928 to Franciszek and Maria (Gierlak) Jozefczyk. Adam proudly served in the Polish Army shortly after WWII. On June 23rd, 1953 he married Czeslawa Mazur in Polomia, Poland. The family came to the United States on April 1st, 1970, settling in Wallington. After arriving in the US, Adam worked at Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus in Wallington for many years in maintenance, and he also served as an usher. He later worked in the maintenance department of the Felician College, retiring in 1997. Adam is a parishioner of Church of the Most Holy Rosary in Passaic. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Czeslawa and his loving sons George and Gregory. He was predeceased by his son Casmir in 2010, his daughter in law Karen in 2013, three brothers and two sisters. He is also survived by his daughter in law Linda Jozefczyk, and his seven cherished grandchildren and two great granddaughters. Visiting Thursday, 7-9 PM Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10am Friday, at Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Wall St, Passaic. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in Adam’s memory to a charity of your choice.
