Helen M. Sasiela, a 70 year resident of Garfield, entered eternal life on Oct 3rd, she was 91. Helen was born in Lansford, PA on May 23rd, 1926 to Michael and Mary (Stelmach) Nowak. She was married to Julius Sasiela at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Lansford, PA on Nov. 22nd, 1947; they were married 50 years before Julius passed in Jan 1998. Helen enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, reading and housekeeping. Several months ago, Helen moved to Shippensburg, PA to be with her family. Helen is survived by her beloved brothers and their wives, Michael and Donita Nowak, and Joseph and Annmarie Nowak. She is also survived by her loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Helen was predeceased by her brothers John and Walter. Visiting Sat, Oct 7th 9:30 – 10:30 am, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, followed by a funeral Mass, 11am, St. Joseph’s Church, 7 Parker Ave, Passaic.
