John M.  Pastorick Jr.
John Pastorick, Jr. of Saddle Brook, entered eternal life on December 4, 2016, he was 77. John was born in Scranton, PA on Nov 16th, 1939 to John Sr., and Anna (Chichura) Pastorick. He was a graduate of Garfield High School Class of 1957. On October 6th, 1962 John married Ann Wilson. Following in his father's footsteps, John became a butcher, first working for A&P, and later the Inserra Shoprite Supermarkets. He became a Shoprite Store Manager and was a dedicated employee for over 40 years, until his retirement in 2008. He and Ann enjoyed vacationing and traveling to many destinations they only dreamed of seeing. In John's spare time he enjoyed working on his cars and was always excited to spend time with his grandchildren. John is survived by his beloved wife Ann, his devoted sons and their wives, John and Joanne, James and Kirstin, his four cherished grandchildren, Kyra, John, Tyler and Jessica. He is also survived by his three dear sisters Janet Szewczyk, Patricia Konczak and Kathleen Brandes, their husbands and children. John had a great sense of humor and a heart of gold, he will be greatly missed. A funeral liturgy will be held at the Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel, 96 1st St, Passaic, followed by interment in St. Michael's Cemetery, S. Hackensack. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations in John's memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering, Alzheimer's Research, or Boys Town. WarnerAndWozniak.com
