Zofia of Wallington, died at home, surrounded by her loving family, on January 3rd, 2013; she was 73.
Zofia was born in Poland on Dec 22, 1939 to Jan and Karolina (Glowacki) Kwasnik. Zofia married Jozef Fabijanczuk on April 22, 1961 in Nowe Wierzchowo, Poland. Zofia came to the United States in 1965, living in Passaic, moving to Wallington in 1972. She had also been a member of the Polish National Alliance, P.N.A. Local Lodge 2571. Zofia had worked as a seamstress for most of her life, last working for SmithKlein Beecham Pharmaceuticals on a production line. Zofia is survived by her four loving children Christopher and wife Krystyna; Gregory; Bernadette Vega; Irene and husband Tom Wojcik. She is the cherished grandmother of thirteen grandchildren. She is also survived by her four sisters Stanislawa Dec of Canada, Anna Kasica, Sister Victoria Kwasnik and Katarzyna Miszkwicz of Poland. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Jozef on Feb 13th of 2012, two brothers and one sister. Mass of Christian Burial, 10 AM Monday, Jan 7th, at St. Joseph’s Church, 7 Parker St. Passaic, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, S. Hackensack.
