Helena Halat of Wallington, New Jersey, died with her loving family by her side, on Friday, November 30th, 2012; she was 62 years old. Helena was born on April 1st, 1950 in Kupno, Poland to Franciszek and Maria (Zuber) Drzal. She worked in Poland as a glass blowing artisan, prior to coming to the United States in 1992. On January 14, 1973 Helena married Jan Halat in Poland. Her hobbies included arts and crafts, anything that was hands-on. She was also a member of the Rosary Society. Helena is survived by her loving husband Jan, her four devoted sons Pawel and his wife Norma of Wallington, Piotr of Poland, Tomasz and his wife Aneta of Wallington, Lukasz of Wallington, and her cherished seven grandchildren. Helena is also survived by her two loving brothers Ryszard and Kazimierz Drzal in Poland. She was pre-deceased by one sister and one brother. Visiting will take place on Tuesday, December 4th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington, New Jersey 07057. A funeral mass will follow Wednesday, December 5th, 10:00 AM at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Avenue, Wallington, New Jersey 07057. The family has requested Mass Donations in lieu of flowers. Helena will be buried in Poland in a family plot.
