Obituary for Robert Oscar Hyduk

Robert, 63 of Wallington, NJ, fought many courageous health battles and overcame them over the past 12 years. However on October 9th, 2012, he lost his final battle to prostate cancer. Robert was born in Passaic, NJ on July 12, 1949. His family moved to Clifton, NJ when he was a young man, and he graduated Clifton High School Class of 1969. Robert served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1971 aboard the USS Midway, stationed in Vietnam at Yankee Station. He became a Radiological Technician, licensed and certified in New Jersey, and worked fort the United Hospitals of Newark from 1974 to 1997. He was a member of the American Registry of Radiological Technologists, the Wallington Seniors and the North Jersey Community Aphasia Group. Robert’s hobbies included painting, raising cactus, bowling, animals and his dear friends. Robert is survived by his beloved wife Donna Stefanik Hyduk of 37 years. They were married at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Wallington, on Oct. 26th, 1975; living in Wallington since 1987. He is also survived by his brother George Hyduk of PA, his Aunt Verna of PA, many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents. Visiting, Sunday 6 – 9 pm Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service 80 Midland Ave. Wallington, NJ. A funeral service will take place at 8PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place on Monday, B.G. Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
